I've had these tensioners for a verrrrry long time, and i've never had anything bad happen to them, aside from paint wearing off, but thats natural. These hold your wheel in place really well, and I hadnt run chain tensioners before this, so I was really happy with these. I give emm a whopping 10 stars for doing a perfect job. **********
